Can I remind everyone that the new Group Diary for 2010 , is now available from your Lodge .

It is packed with valuable information about the Group and its Lodges & Chapters ,

and with all profits going to Groups Disbursement fund everyone should buy at least one ( or two)

 

 
 

  

Pleased be advised that the next Wellington Group Representatives Meeting

will be held at Masonic Hall ,Hope St  Wednesday 14th April 2010   at 6-30 prompt in the top Banquet Suite.

 

Those who have ordered in advance a meal , are requested to attend at 6pm

 

 

It is essential to the continued well running of the Group that every Lodge /Chapter is represented .

 

Representatives who are presenting a report are requested to keep it concise and to provide me with a copy ,

Xmas might be a busy time for everyone but our Chairman John Roberts accompanied by Vice Chairman Roy Ashley and Secretary Roy Cowley still found time on the 11th Dec to visit Liverpool's baby Hospice “Zoe’s Place “.

 

There they donated a cheque for £1,008 from the Freemason’s Grand Charity .

 

This cheque was part of the magnificent £37,600 donation from the Freemason’s Grand Charity

to the various Hospice’s through out the West Lancashire Province

Group Chairman John Roberts accompanied by Vice Chairman Roy Ashley visited St Joseph's Hospice Thornton on

Monday 14th December 2009 to present  on behalf of the Freemason's Grand Charity

a cheque for £3,081 to Ms Pat Murphy the Director of Fundraising.
